This is easily the largest and most time consuming piece I have ever done, drawn over the course of 3 months. The sketch alone, before I even scanned it in to line and color, took around 24 hours to do. You don't even want to see the havic wrought by eraser marks on that poor piece of paper... I really, really like how it turned out, though. I tried out a new style of shading, and I love it!

So anyway, this is for the Azurehowl summer contest. I got the idea for this as soon as I saw the contest, a future in which Takaya betrays Ruuza and her gang and they are hunted by Takaya and her brother. Their mother, Shira, orchestrated all this madness, so she is looking on with fury at her children and their prey. _{I voice Shira, by the way. OuO}

Just pointing this out, Ruuza does have the extra rings around her pupils, I just muted them a bit because they gave her a creepy crazy-eyed look when they were darker, seeing as how tiny her pupils are in this, hehe.
